Innard Blues
Paintings, Drawings & Music by Anna Todaro
December 7th - 30th, 2007
Thanks so much to everyone who made this show work- especially all of the volunteers who showed up on those cold December days even though no one came in. You are the greatest! congratulations to Anna on the spectacular job she did getting people to the show after the opening- you justify the gallery being open, Anna! If you missed the show, you can see some of the work at the debut of Show and Tell gallery in the Everett Station Lofts, right down the way from the Core gallery; you can also buy the whole show IN A BOX from Anna via her website. Act now- copies of the Zine are in short supply.
Also, Anna Todaro and Launch Pad director Ben Pink were interviewed on KBOO radio by Artist Kathleen Stevenson on ART FOCUS- check it out here!
Launch Pad is thrilled to work with Artist, Musician and Curator Anna Todaro in debuting Innard Blues, a limited edition full-color zine/audio release of new paintings and songs by Anna inspired by the monster poems of Patrick Bocarde, Melissa Sillitoe and Curtis White-Carroll.
All of the artwork featured in the zine as well as the preparatory ink drawings are on display, and we still have copies of the zine available at the gallery, so ask to see one. Each zine is signed and numbered, and there are a limited number, so make sure that you come by and pick up a copy.
December will also mark Launch Pad Gallery’s 2nd anniversary… Woo HOO!!!
Thanks to all of the people who have made the past two years possible- without the help of volunteers, both willing and incidental, we would have given up long ago.
